Lost between tomorrow and yesterday

We’ve moved back to New York and turned our lives upside down again… or should I say right side up?

Cheers to this summer, to memories, memorials, road trips, family, compromise, change, moving, laughing, crying, being comfortable with being uncomfortable, tough times and good times.

Stranded

Never have I ever been truly stranded at an airport until the other weekend. Once I learned I was stuck at the airport for another 9 hours I did what any proper adult would do: I cried and called my mom. Then I realized this doesn’t happen very often, so I documented it.

Arts District

The Arts District... It's definitely an exciting time to be in the area and watch it transform. Here are a few snaps from a slow weekend.

Desert day

The minutes turn into hours, that turn into days, that turn into weeks...

Wintering

As the East coast is chilled with freezing temperatures, I'm over here embracing my first LA winter. Though I miss the snow and that feeling of getting someplace warm after walking blocks in a polar vortex, I will say these 70 degree days are pretty nice. There is a kind of solace walking alone in the snow fall, listening to the city shutting down - the energy is akin to school getting out early due to inclement snowy weather. Here are some snaps from a day like that.

Hwy 1

It's amazes me how drastic the landscape changes from Southern California to just a few hours up hwy 1.

Untitled

I drew an interest in photography back in high school but never took the time to truly pursue it up until a few years ago.

When I decided I would be leaving NYC for a move out west, I wanted to capture as much of the city as I possibly could - my walks to work, restaurants, views I was lucky enough to stop taking for granted... With that said, I have tons of photos just sitting on my hard drive. So from time to time, I take a look and notice new photos I am really glad I took.
